I qualified as a chartered physiotherapist with a MSc from Leeds University in January 2009 and it was straight up to Glasgow to work with the NHS for the following 5 years. The NHS was a fantastic opportunity to get experience in every area of physio before concentrating on musculoskeletal outpatients. I moved into private practice whilst living in Edinburgh and then started the journey of running my own clinic on returning home to Ireland in February 2016.
I’ve attended many courses over the past 10 years on topics such as low back pain management, tendinopathy management, shoulder rehab, dry needling, Explain Pain, physio bike fitting and running gait analysis. I completed a BSc in Nutrition from UCC in 2004 and offer a nutritional advice service along with personal training at The Life Fit Studio.
My extensive experience and training has allowed me to branch into many areas and disciplines, one of which is corporate health. I have presented on topics such as back pain, sedentary lifestyles in the workplace and “the ingredients for cycling” in a corporate setting. I currently provide an in-house physiotherapy service to the staff at Voxpro on two days per month.
Another role of mine is Senior Physio to the Irish Masters national hockey teams.
I get my adrenaline kicks from downhill mountain biking and surfing, and relax with home-brewing and meditation!

Having graduated as a physical therapist in 2017 through Institute of Physical Therapy and Applied Science (IPTAS) and attaining membership with Irish Association of Physical Therapists (IAPT), I swiftly opened up my own clinic and began my new chapter. During my time in college I received a great foundation in diagnostic techniques, manual therapy, pain science and rehabilitation, to name a few. However, my journey in health has since taken many interesting turns. I feel I have gained tremendous experience with my clients to date with many interesting and complex cases coming through the door, ranging from long standing conditions such as chronic back pain, as well as dealing with more sports related injuries such as knee ligament injuries, dislocations, muscle tears and many more.
I am deeply fascinated with the human body and how amazingly adaptive it is. I see myself as a coach that can help you unleash its potential. I do this through my injury prevention and rehabilitation sessions. These sessions are tailored to be as relevant to each client’s needs whilst incorporating a fun and engaging approach.
I cannot promise a quick fix for anyone but what I can promise is that I’m committed to understanding why you move and feel the way you do, and to find solutions to get you moving well and living to your full potential, free from fear of pain and movement.
My therapy is all about the individual as their pain is theirs and theirs only. Health is a journey, with some of us struggling to find our way. Firstly, I aim to help you recover, and then thrive...

I have been practicing yoga for over 6 years now. I have trained in east Bali India and Canada before beginning my yoga journey at home here in Ireland.
My approach is very accessible welcoming beginners and easing them into new postures. Breath-work is the foundation of my class using nasal breath and yogic breathing to reduce stress and improve clarity. I also delve into Mediation and mindfulness throughout my classes and explore deep stretches in a relaxed state
